By popular demand, we've add two new brews to Ground Kontrol's after-7PM beverage lineup: Session Lager and Guinness Draught.

Local brewery Full Sail says that Session Lager is "our way of bringing back the pre-Prohibition American Lager. It’s an all-malt Continental Pilsner brewed with American and European hops, so it’s flavorful, refreshing, and has a touch of that import-style taste which, once upon a time, you didn’t have to buy an “import” to get. Oh, and it comes in a stubby, 11-oz bottle like your grandpa used to buy."

Guinness, the famous beer brewed in Ireland by Arthur Guinness Son & Co. since 1759, needs no introduction. Ground Kontrol serves Guinness Draught in bottles: upon opening, and with each sip, the ‘widget’ inside produces a creamy ‘slow pour’ foam that lasts to the final drop.

Ground Kontrol now serves beer from 7PM until closing time every night!

(NOTE: Kids and underaged patrons still welcome Noon-7PM every day.)

So, adults, bring your ID and your 21+ self down any night after 7PM and enjoy a drink or two while playing your favorite arcade games, the way Nolan Bushnell intended.

Ground Kontrol has applied for a beer and wine service permit! If all goes well, we'll start serving a variety of local and national brews in May 2005. Social drinkers, rejoice!

Kids and families need not worry, however: we'll admit minors from Noon until 7PM or so, depending on when serving hours begin.
